Follow the instructor journey from applying and proposing a run to preparing a classroom, teaching live, and supporting students afterward.

To teach on explainx.ai, apply to join the instructor team, use your linked account to propose a workshop run, and prepare its classroom after approval. Use this guide as your route through the teaching process.
Go from application to an approved run
- Apply to teach and set up your instructor account. Share your subject, intended audience, and relevant work through Teach on explainx.
- Once the team adds your instructor profile, sign in with the same email and open your instructor dashboard.
- Create your first run, step by step. Choose a published workshop, propose dates and seats, and explain your teaching plan.
- Follow the proposal review. The team can request changes, approve, or decline; it sets pricing on approval. Approval creates the run and assigns you as its instructor.
An application does not create an instructor account automatically, and a submitted proposal is not a published run. Revenue share is agreed per partnership before you launch.
Prepare the classroom in the week before teaching
- Set up your classroom before day 1. Open it from the approved run, organize channels, and decide who will help moderate.
- Check each session, including dates, IST start times, duration, and Zoom details. Coordinate host access with the team.
- Test your exercise and required tool access. Post a welcome message and pin the classroom instructions.
- Confirm any linked community gives learners a useful next step after the workshop.
Run the live lesson and close the session
- On teaching day, host a live session alongside your classroom. Start the meeting through your agreed Zoom setup and keep classroom chat open.
- Share reusable prompts, answer doubts in threads, and check held contributions with your moderator.
- End with a short recap and one practice task. Check recording availability before announcing it.
Continue supporting the cohort after class
- Help students keep learning after class: check recordings, point students to their certificate steps, and reopen past classrooms.
- If appropriate, add the cohort to a community you own or teach in, save learning tags, and choose whether to email students.
- Review unanswered doubts and your teaching notes before proposing another run.
Use the copy guides at each teaching stage
Start with copywriting good practices for instructors, then adapt these templates:
- Run names, daily titles, and proposal notes.
- Classroom welcomes, rules, reminders, and wrap-ups.
- Community names, descriptions, and move-email notes.
For the public offer, use Build a workshop page learners can evaluate and the workshop copy checklist.
