Organize community spaces and discussions
Create discussion and announcement spaces, publish useful posts, and manage pinned, closed, or reported conversations in your teacher community.

Spaces organize conversations inside your community. Use a discussion space for questions and exchanges between members, and an announcement space for updates from the teaching team. Community posts are visible to members with access to that community.
Create or change a space
Owners and instructors can open Spaces, then Create a space. Enter a name and description, choose Who can start a post?, and select Create space.
- All members — discussion space lets members start conversations.
- Owners and instructors — announcements limits new posts to the teaching team. Members can still reply while the conversation is open.
Open Manage space to change a space or archive it. Archiving removes its posts from the normal feed and stops new contributions there. Existing direct post links remain readable by members. Restore space makes it available again.
Post a question or update
Open Conversations, select Write a post, and choose the space. Use a specific title and explain what happened, what you tried, and the help you need. Titles need at least three words; posts need at least ten. Replies need at least five words.
Select Publish post when it is ready. Contributions are screened before publishing. If a post is rejected, follow the message shown and revise the content. Avoid personal account details, payment information, and copied private conversations.
Only community owners and instructors can share links in community posts and replies. Members can describe the resource or ask the teaching team to add it to the resource library.
Keep conversations useful
Owners, instructors, and moderators can pin a post, close a conversation, or hide content. Pin instructions that members need to find repeatedly. Close a thread when you need to stop further replies. Hiding a post or reply removes it from ordinary member view; the moderation team can review and restore it.
Members can report a post or reply with a reason. The community team reviews reports in Moderation and marks them reviewed after dealing with the issue. These permissions apply only within this community; see community roles.
Use the search field while inside a community to find its discussions. Public Questions and workshop classrooms have separate conversations and access rules.
