# Check workshop dates, time zones, and reminders

Before registering, check the current [workshop page](https://explainx.ai/workshops). After registering, open [your workshop dashboard](https://explainx.ai/dashboard/workshops) and use the schedule for your specific cohort.

## Check the displayed time zone

Read the date, start time, and time-zone label together. A workshop can have several cohorts, and sessions may fall on a different calendar date in another time zone. Do not rely on a time quoted in an old blog post or chat answer.

Open the relevant cohort and review each session under **Sessions & recordings**. If your device or calendar uses a different time zone, compare it with the label displayed beside the session before setting a reminder. See [calendar events](/help/articles/adding-calendar-events) for calendar help.

## A reminder or confirmation email is missing

Check the mailbox for the email used to register or pay, including spam and filtered folders. A newsletter, updates subscription, or waitlist confirmation is not the same as confirmed enrollment.

You can still check your schedule and join an eligible session from the dashboard without waiting for a reminder. Joining normally opens five minutes before the start. Follow [joining help](/help/articles/join-live-workshop) if the session is starting and the link is absent.

## Dates appear different or the session changed

Check that both pages refer to the same cohort and time zone. Refresh the cohort page and review any workshop updates. A saved calendar event may still contain an older time.

If the information still conflicts, email [support@explainx.ai](mailto:support@explainx.ai) with the workshop, cohort, and the two times you see, including their time zones. Melo can explain where to check, but should not invent a replacement date or confirm a schedule change without current information.
