# Check your Zoom live-session setup

All explainx sessions run on Zoom. Test your host setup before class and confirm that learners can join from their dashboard five minutes before the scheduled start.

## Run a rehearsal

Use the intended host account and device. Test the microphone, camera, shared application, and any audio in the demonstration. Join from a second device or ask a colleague to check what learners see.

## Prepare a fallback

Keep a local copy of essential slides and a working example. Agree who can continue the session if the host loses connection. Have a clear way to tell enrolled learners about a replacement link.

## If a link fails

Verify the correct Zoom host account, meeting date, and link on the workshop run. Learners see classes in their dashboard, with the joining link available five minutes before class starts. Coordinate corrections with the explainx team and notify the cohort through the agreed channel. Do not post private meeting links in public help comments.
