# Share prompts for each class day

Post class prompts in **#prompts**. Only instructors can post in this channel. Each prompt appears as a card with a **Copy prompt** button and a tag showing its class day.

## Prepare a prompt students can use

Write the prompt as the text you want students to copy. Make the task, context, and expected result clear. If students need to replace part of the text, explain what they should change when you introduce the exercise.

For example, a summarizing exercise might ask students to turn a sample meeting note into decisions, open questions, and next steps. Use a sample that everyone can follow, then explain how to adapt it to their own work.

## Point students to the right card

When teaching, ask students to open **#prompts** and find the card tagged with the relevant class day. Tell them to select **Copy prompt** to copy its text, then try it in the tool you are using for the exercise.

Refer to the day tag when discussing a prompt later. This helps students identify which exercise you mean when several class days have prompts in the same channel.

## Keep questions in doubts

Ask students to post questions in **#doubts**. Suggest that they name the class day, describe what they tried, and include the result they need help with. You can answer the question using **Reply in thread**.

Read [Post classroom messages and replies](/help/articles/post-classroom-messages) for threads and code blocks, or [Share photos in the classroom](/help/articles/share-classroom-photos) when a screenshot would help explain a result.
