# Share a useful free learning resource

A free resource can introduce your teaching through a complete, useful task. Keep the explainx workshop invitation secondary to the value of the resource itself.

## Choose a practical artifact

Create a checklist, sample dataset, review rubric, or short exercise tied to your topic. Explain who it is for, what inputs it needs, and how to judge the result. Use material you own or have permission to share.

## Make access clear

Test the resource link without your own account permissions. Remove private information and avoid requiring unnecessary access to a learner’s files. Tell people whether they need to sign in or provide an email address.

## Offer a relevant next step

Link to the explainx workshop when guided practice would help. Coordinate any email collection with the team and state what updates people are choosing to receive. Downloading a resource should not be described as enrolling in a paid workshop.
