Open your proposal from [the instructor dashboard](/help/articles/open-instructor-dashboard) to check its status and review thread. You can edit, resubmit, or withdraw while it is **Pending review** or **Changes requested**.

## Understand the status

- **Pending review:** the proposal is awaiting the team's review.
- **Changes requested:** the team has requested changes and left a note.
- **Approved:** the team has approved the proposal and created a real run.
- **Not approved:** the team has rejected the proposal and left a note explaining the decision.
- **Withdrawn:** you have withdrawn the proposal from review.

The team can approve, request changes, or reject. Read the decision note before deciding what to do next, particularly when the team asks you to revise the schedule or teaching plan.

## Reply in the review thread

Use the review thread for back-and-forth replies with the team. Keep questions and explanations with the proposal so the conversation is easy to follow. If a requested change is unclear, reply to the note before revising your plan.

## Edit and resubmit

While the proposal is Pending review or Changes requested, edit the details and select **Resubmit for review**. You can optionally say what changed; that message is posted to the review thread.

Check the revised dates, daily titles, and seats before resubmitting. If you no longer want the proposed run reviewed, withdraw it while it is in either of these statuses.

The team is emailed about new and updated proposals. You are emailed on each decision, so use the proposal page to read the full note and continue the conversation.

## Open the approved run

Approval creates a real run and automatically assigns you as its instructor. The proposal page then links to **Manage it**. Open that link to [manage the run's sessions](/help/articles/manage-run-sessions). Until approval, the proposal remains out of student views and public pages.
