# Use reflection to make learning stick

A short reflection helps learners connect an explainx workshop exercise to their own work. Ask for a specific change in understanding or a next action.

## Before the workshop

Invite learners to name one task they want to improve and the obstacle they currently face. Keep the answer brief and avoid requiring confidential details.

## During the workshop

After a practice activity, ask what changed between the first attempt and the reviewed version. Encourage learners to identify the check that made the biggest difference and where they still need help.

## At the end

Ask learners to choose a small next use of the method and explain how they will judge the result. They can share a reflection in the relevant classroom discussion if they wish. Reflection is separate from formal workshop feedback; use the provided feedback flow for comments on the learning experience.
