# Read and discuss explainx newsletters

Read an edition on [the explainx newsletter site](https://explainx.ai/newsletter) or open its discussion in [Community questions](/questions). Community shows the edition above its replies, including headings and source links. Use **View original edition and reader poll** to open the original page.

Newsletter discussions have readable addresses based on their edition titles. Older shared links still open the same discussion. Sign in with your explainx account to comment or react; comments use your community identity and are public.

## Post a comment

1. Open the edition you want to discuss and find **Add a comment**.
2. Write a useful plain-text response to the edition, using no more than 600 characters and six lines on the newsletter site. You can leave up to three comments per edition there.
3. Select **Post comment** and wait for confirmation.

Comments are screened before appearing. Repeated comments, filler, harmful content, and posting too quickly can be rejected. If the form shows an error, your draft remains so you can revise it or try again later.

The newsletter site does not accept links, web addresses, or email addresses in comments. Describe a resource by name instead. Community replies follow the public Questions link rules shown in the form. Keep account, payment, and private classroom details out of this public discussion.

## React to the edition

On the original newsletter page, choose a reaction beside the Comments heading. Select the same reaction again to remove it. Reactions apply to the edition; signing in is required to save your choice.

## Understand community visibility

Each edition's comments belong to a public community discussion. Your comment and display name can be read by people outside your classes or teacher communities. Approved public community discussions may also be featured in newsletters; private classroom messages are excluded from that feed.

Use [Account settings](/help/articles/community-profile-and-username) to manage your community name and photo, and follow the [community guidelines](/guidelines).

## If comments are unavailable

A closed discussion does not accept new comments. If the page says comments and likes are temporarily unavailable, return later. For account help or a private concern, use [Getting help with explainx](/help/articles/getting-help) instead of posting personal details under an edition.
