# Set up Zoom links and host access

All explainx sessions run on Zoom. Coordinate host access with the team; learners find the joining link in their dashboard five minutes before class starts.

## Verify the host

The person teaching must have permission to start and manage the meeting in Zoom. Test screen sharing, audio, participant access, and any planned recording. Check account limits against the expected duration and attendance.

## Publish the correct destination

Share the approved link with staff responsible for the run. Check the learner-facing session after it is updated. Classes are visible in the dashboard, and the Zoom joining link becomes available five minutes before the scheduled start. Do not assume that changing a Zoom setting automatically updates explainx.

## Prepare for problems

Agree who will help with late arrivals and who can take over if the host disconnects. If a link must change, coordinate the replacement and tell enrolled learners where to find it. Keep host credentials and private meeting details out of Community posts.
