# Add an explainx session to Google Calendar

Save each confirmed workshop session in Google Calendar and verify its time zone against the schedule in your explainx dashboard.

## Add the event

If the workshop provides a Google Calendar link, open it, check the date and duration, and save the event to your preferred calendar. Otherwise, create an event manually using the confirmed session details. Link back to your workshop dashboard in the description.

## If you receive a subscription URL

Use Google Calendar on the web. In Other calendars, choose the add option and then From URL. Paste the organizer’s calendar feed address and add the calendar. Use this only for a provided feed, not the workshop web page.

## Keep it accurate

Feed updates may take time to appear. Check instructor announcements when a session is rescheduled, and update manually saved events yourself. Sharing your whole calendar can expose private joining details; keep classroom links within your cohort.
