# Follow up after a workshop fit check

A fit-check response should tell the learner whether the workshop matches their goal and what to do next. It should not imply enrollment has already happened.

## Explain the recommendation

Refer to the task the learner described and the relevant workshop exercise. Clarify prerequisites, required tools, and the time commitment. If the workshop is not suitable, explain the missing starting point or scope mismatch.

## Give one next step

Share the current official workshop page for enrollment, or ask a focused question if more information is needed. A waitlist can be offered when a suitable run is not yet available.

## Keep the process accurate

Use the communication tools and triggers approved by the explainx team. Do not describe an application acceptance or automated sequence unless that workflow is actually in use for the program. Handle personal details privately, and respect the learner’s choice not to proceed.
