## Keep a problem log

For a week, note the questions colleagues ask you, recurring mistakes you help fix, and decisions that take longer than they should. Remove confidential details and group the notes by task.

## Check what can be taught

Choose a problem you can explain through a repeatable process. Identify the learner’s starting point and a result they can produce in a workshop. Test the idea with someone outside your immediate team to uncover assumptions.

## Build a representative exercise

Use synthetic or public data to recreate the task safely. Include a success check and one failure case. For an AI workflow, learners should know when the output is unreliable and how to review it. Share the proposal with the explainx team before promising dates or enrollment.
