# Facilitate an explainx live workshop

Prepare the room, exercise, and support roles before learners arrive. During the session, make the next task and expected output easy to follow.

## Before the start

Check host access, audio, screen sharing, captions where available, and the joining link. Open the files you need and close private windows. Confirm who will watch for access problems and questions.

## During practice

Explain the task and show written instructions. Give learners a clear time window and a way to ask for help. If you use breakout groups, define the output and how the group will share it afterward.

## Before closing

Review a representative result, answer common questions, and name the next step. Tell learners where to find resources and when to expect any promised recording. Afterward, check that published materials are accessible to the intended cohort and remove private information from recordings before sharing.
