# Run a focused explainx workshop

Build a workshop around one useful task learners can practice and review. Prepare the setup and examples so live time can focus on doing the work.

## Before the session

Confirm prerequisites, account access, and the expected output. Rehearse the exercise from a learner’s starting point. Keep a safe sample dataset and a fallback example available.

## During the session

Show a small demonstration, explain your decisions, and give learners time to attempt a variation. Pause for questions at the points where mistakes are likely. Review an output against clear criteria rather than only showing a finished result.

## After the session

Point learners to the promised resources and classroom discussion. Explain how to continue the exercise and where to ask follow-up questions. Collect feedback through the workshop flow and use it to improve the next run’s instructions, pace, and support.
