# Gather interest in a future workshop

Use a workshop waitlist or an agreed research survey to learn what prospective explainx learners need. Make clear whether you are collecting interest or offering enrollment.

## Keep questions focused

Ask about the task, starting skills, preferred schedule, and constraints. Include a short description of the proposed outcome so respondents understand the scope. Request only information needed for the research or agreed follow-up.

## Review the responses

Group answers by problem and readiness. A broad list of suggested topics may hide several different audiences. Follow up with willing respondents when you need an example of their actual work.

## Close the loop

Use the findings to refine the proposal and prerequisites. Share confirmed dates through the approved communication process when a run becomes available. Do not treat a survey response as payment, a reserved seat, or permission for unrelated marketing.
