Start with the smallest learning experience that lets someone apply your expertise. A focused explainx workshop is easier to test and improve than a broad curriculum.

## Match scope to evidence

If you have never taught the topic, try a short practice session with people who face the problem. If you already repeat the same explanation in consulting or mentoring, turn that explanation into an exercise with a clear output.

An advanced course needs evidence that learners can finish the foundational work. Avoid building multiple levels before you understand where people get stuck.

## Define the pilot

Write down the intended learner, prerequisites, one outcome, a realistic duration, and how you will review the result. Prepare a worked example and a simpler fallback exercise.

## Decide what comes next

After the pilot, look at completed work and unresolved questions. Repeat or improve the session before expanding it. Coordinate publication and enrollment with the explainx team; a community post by itself does not create a bookable workshop.
