Apply through [Teach on explainx](https://explainx.ai/teach) with a practical topic and evidence of your experience. After the team adds your instructor profile, sign in with the email attached to that profile to access instructor tools.

## Show what you can help learners do

explainx welcomes practitioners and educators with demonstrable experience in AI, agents, MCP, engineering, data, or related enterprise skills. Prior online teaching experience is not required; shipped projects, talks, open-source work, client work, and in-person or corporate training can demonstrate your expertise.

1. Name the audience and a task you can teach hands-on.
2. Describe an exercise and the output learners will practice producing.
3. Include links to relevant work and explain your contribution.
4. State your preferred format and availability in the application.

Live workshops and multi-week cohort bootcamps are the primary formats described on the teaching page. It also describes self-paced courses and AI-tutor pathways for established instructors; discuss those with the team rather than treating the run proposal form as a course builder.

## Agree the teaching partnership before launch

You bring the curriculum, practical examples, preparation, and live delivery. explainx handles the platform, checkout and enrollment, private classrooms, recording hosting, and workshop distribution. Coordinate Zoom rooms, host access, and recording arrangements with the team for your run.

Revenue share is **agreed per partnership before you launch**. Confirm your arrangement with the team; the instructor dashboard does not set partnership terms. See [Confirm instructor payment arrangements](/help/articles/instructor-payment-arrangements).

Applications remain private while reviewed. If there is a fit for an upcoming slot, the team emails you; applying alone does not publish an instructor listing or grant dashboard access. You can also contact [partners@explainx.ai](mailto:partners@explainx.ai).

## Match your sign-in email to the instructor profile

1. Confirm which email the team uses for your instructor profile.
2. Create or sign in to your explainx account with that email. An existing account with the matching email can be linked; a profile added before signup can also be recognized when you use that email.
3. Open [the instructor dashboard](https://explainx.ai/instructor/dashboard).
4. If it says the area is for explainx instructors, ask the team to check your active profile and account email.

Follow [Open your instructor dashboard](/help/articles/open-instructor-dashboard) for navigation, then [prepare your first run](/help/articles/plan-and-submit-first-run).

## Check your badge in the run you teach

Assigned instructors display an **Instructor** badge in that run's classroom. Proposal approval assigns the proposer automatically; arrange additional instructors with the team. The badge and permissions follow the run assignment, so access to one run does not grant control of every classroom.

See [Instructor roles and classroom badges](/help/articles/instructor-roles-and-badges) for co-instructors and classroom moderators.
