# Add an explainx session to Apple Calendar

Add a confirmed workshop session to Apple Calendar using the supplied event file, or create the event manually from your explainx dashboard.

## Add the event

Open a supplied calendar file with Calendar and select the calendar where you want to save it. If there is no file, create a new event and copy the confirmed date, time zone, and duration from the workshop run. Include a link to your dashboard in the notes.

## When an organizer provides a feed

On a Mac, Calendar supports adding a calendar subscription from its File menu. Paste the organizer’s feed URL, choose the destination calendar and refresh settings, then save. Menu names may differ by device and software version.

## Check your first session

Compare the saved event with the explainx schedule. A one-time import will not necessarily follow future changes. Remove accidental duplicates, set a useful reminder, and keep private meeting or feed links out of public comments.
